General Sales Conditions

Article 1 - Subject

These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern all contractual relationships between RaeLace, a company specialising in the manufacture of bracelets based on non-polluting and recyclable yarns and UV-reacting pigments (hereinafter referred to as "the Seller"), and any natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer") wishing to purchase products made from yarns.

The GTC apply to all orders placed by the Customer with the Seller, subject to the specific conditions when ordering.

Article 2 - Products

The products offered for sale are bracelets made from materials suitable for everyday use. They react to UV rays by changing colour, helping to raise awareness among users of their sun exposure. Colour variations depend on the conditions of use, natural wear and do not constitute a scientific measure.

Article 3 - Orders

Orders can be placed by the Customer via the Seller's website (raelace.com) or during events (e.g. The shared sale at the Belle-Étoile), or via the Seller's social networks (Raelace.lu: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok). The order only becomes final after confirmation by the Seller. Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 4 - Price

The unit price of the bracelets is communicated at the time of sale. No VAT is applied. Prices are likely to be adjusted during the year, but remain fixed for announced sales. Delivery is free.

Article 5 - Terms of payment

Payment for the order is made when the order is validated, by the following means:

• In cash 

• Bank transfer

• Credit card

The payment of €15 is made directly when ordering.

Article 6 - Delivery

Delivery times are indicative and depend on the availability of the products and the place of delivery. The Seller undertakes to deliver the products within 3 days to 6 weeks, but cannot be held responsible for delays or errors due to events beyond his control (bad weather, delays in the delivery of equipment, etc.).

Delivery is made to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery information. Deliveries will be made only in Luxembourg.

Pick-up at school is also possible.

Article 7 - Right of withdrawal

The Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to request a withdrawal, by motivating his decision in writing (E-Mail or mail). Products must be returned in perfect condition, at the Customer's expense. The refund will be made within 14 days after receipt of the returned products.

Article 8 - Guarantee

The Seller guarantees his products against any manufacturing defect for a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the products by the Customer. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, natural discolouration due to UV exposure or products that have undergone modifications by the Customer.

In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, the Seller may offer a repair, an exchange of the product, or a choice of the Seller.

Article 9 - Liability

The Seller cannot be held responsible for misuse of the bracelet. It should not be worn too tight or used by young children without supervision. The product does not replace sunscreen or a professional UV detector.

Article 10 - Personal data

The Seller undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the Customer's personal information and to treat it in accordance with the legislation in force on the protection of personal data.

Article11 - Acceptance of the general conditions of sale

By validating his order, the Customer acknowledges having read these general conditions of sale and accept them without reservation.
